I've decided to make a new thread devoted to learning how to use my camera properly. Poxin and I had a conversation a few nights back about exposure and lighting. I've been mulling the information over and decided to try a few pieces with the exposure set to each extreme. The lighting in the room didn't change at all, just the setting on the camera.

Highest Exposure
1.

8. Miscellaneous playing with exposure and seeing how it works with opposites on the colour wheel. I rather like how it turned out.

Any crits/comments/suggestions are more than welcome.. especially as this is a learning thread. It doesn't even need to just cover exposure, either, it can cover just about anything. Anywho.. off to bed with me! Goodnight, all! ^_^

It's been a while since I've posted any photos. Life has been interesting and distracting recently.

On a whim I decided to do something different and dug through posts till I found a tutorial Melo put together for changing the quality of a pic... mixed it with one or two other things and I'm really quite proud of the results. The only two left unaffected are the first two.

I'm also surprised at just how much life and colour there is in a graveyard. I think, thus far, it's the most colourful place I've seen in my 7 years in Calgary *sage nod*

On with it, now..

Thank you for the support! It's good to know I'm heading in the right direction with things.

This time around I simply didn't care to sit and point and wait for the Right Moment. I just pointed, pursed my lips and shot. Maybe I'll try loosening up like that from now on.

x and w are my personal favourite of the bunch. They just seem so calm to me.
