ESA Portal, Space Houses on Earth
An ESA-designed house that uses technology designed for space could become the basis of the new German Antarctic station, Neumayer-III. The new station has to meet stringent laws set up to protect the Antarctic environment, which is where the use of space technology comes in.

These pictures do this place no justice but my camera was just about done on batteries when we rolled through and I had to rush 
be sure to check out the website and read about the concept. On the way out I felt like peter fonda in easy rider when he tells dennis hopper "they're gonna make it man, they're gonna make it"
